Congratulation! You are choosing the right part to know more about STIMULATHERAPY!
Definition of Stimulatherapy

" Stimulatherapy” means stimulative massage as originated by the founder of Stimulatherapy, Dato’ Rusly Abdullah. It is the application of manual and even digital pressure to the skin with the aim of preventing and curing illness by stimulating the body's natural powers of recuperation, eliminating fatigue-producing elements, and promoting general good health.

"Stimulatherapy technique refers to the use of fingers, thumbs, knuckles, heel of the hands, elbow and the palm of one's hands to apply pressure to particular points or spots on the surface of the body for the purpose of correcting the imbalances of the body, and for maintaining and promoting health. It is also a method contributing to the healing of specific illnesses.
Stimulatherapy Characteristic
A Stimulatherapy practitioner performs Stimulatherapy by employing (Selectively) thirteen Javanese massage techniques (Pijat) comprising massage sequences such as pressing with his thumbs, fingers, knuckles and palms on ‘Stimulatherapy points’ throughout the body to enhance the body's natural healing ability and prevent the progression of disease.  Stimulatherapy points are based on Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM) body meridian theory. They are similar with ‘Acupoints’ used in Acupuncture and Acupressure. Stimulatherapy points and their location and the effect of Stimulatherapy massage on them is based on an understanding of modern and traditional Anatomy and Physiology. These points are effective in treating all body systems including the Body Metabolism, Muscular, Nervous, Circulatory, Skeletal, Endocrine, Reproduction and Digestive systems.
A Stimulatherapy practitioner will advice his client to take certain Javanese herbal tea at the end of a massage session. These Javanese tea are applicable only to Stimulatherapy and are not related to any other ancient therapy. The Javanese term Pijat Cabe Puyang, means "Massage, Herbs and Therapy Combined" and is the essence of Stimulatherapy.  The thumbs, fingers, knuckles, elbows and palms of trained and experienced Stimulatherapy practitioners are sensitive enough and able to detect, while on contact, any irregularities in the skin, flesh, muscles or body temperature.  Relating to "the Stimulatherapy Reflex Points", in the course of practical experience, Stimulatherapy practitioners are able to locate abnormalities and ascertain their degree, as well as determining the condition of the affected organs.  When detecting abnormalities, a practitioner applies Stimulatherapy massage sequences as a treatment at the same time.  The amount of pressure and its tempo are planned to apply the appropriate pressure for each patient.  The sensitivity of the hand, knuckles, elbows, knees and palms are also used for application of pressure during treatments by a practitioner.  Mastering the essence of Stimulatherapy may require many month or even years of clinical and practical experience .
The Root of Stimulatherapy
Stimulatherapy is stimulative massage originated from JAVANESE massage combined with Acupoints. The Therapy is as ancient as the instinctive impulse to hold your forehead or temples when you have a headache. Everyone at one time or another has used his or her hands spontaneously to hold tense or painful places on the body. The root of Stimulatherapy is 'Tombo-dewean' (which means self treatment in Javanese). When we feel pain, we will spontaneously place a hand on the affected area, rubbed the area in attempt to relieve the pain.  This natural behavior is called 'Tombo Dewean'. Naturally our body is able to heal any bodily disorders. Stimulatherapy is employed to stimulate the whole bodily system to work effectively through massage or pressing on selected Stimulatherapy points.
